Rating credits from the first CCP-aligned cookstove project

Calyx Global has released new ratings for “Arborify Cookstoves Togo” (GS 12069), marking two important milestones for the cookstove projects we have rated. It is the first improved cookstove project (excluding metered devices) to receive an “A” rating under our GHG integrity framework – and the first that could generate credits eligible for the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market’s (ICVCM’s) Core Carbon Principles (CCP) label.
The project applies version 4 of the Gold Standard methodology,
