The Calyx Global Large-scale Grid-Connected Renewable Energy Ratings Framework

Large-scale grid-connected renewable energy projects (registered under the ACM0002 methodology) are some of the largest contributors to the carbon markets, and comprise over 30% of all credits issued. These projects face unique risks to greenhouse gas integrity, some of which can be mitigated by project developers. In this paper, we provide a detailed explanation of how Calyx Global rates projects under the ACM0002 Methodology, and the risk factors that affect these project’s GHG ratings.
